Skid plate rusting off badlands

I have a 2022 badlands and the skid plate is staring to come off. The skid plate itself is fine bar some surface rust. But somehow the threading for the bolts is deteriorating? I’ve lost two bolts from
The front passenger side already. Apparently it threads into the frame.
What are my options? Dealership wasn’t particularly helpful beyond zip ties. Not really a long term fix.

2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend back up camera

Apparently, somehow I scratched or damaged the back up camera lens , I think it’s actually an impact , as it’s not so much scratched as distorted , regardless Ford will not warranty we have had it less than a year and 10 k miles, how do I replace it ? Is it a simple as poping the outside cover off and unfastening it, unplug and replace ? Or do I need to remove inside hatch trim ?  

Add Auto-wipers? “WORKED!”

Greetings to all!
My Badlands is being delivered this week.
And I just discovered it doesn’t have automatic wipers. Ford had the brilliant idea to remove them!
Would it be possible to add them by installing the sensor on the windshield and running the wires?

Bronze package rims…aftermarket??

Good day.
Wife has owned a BS Badlands Bronze Smoke with retro steelies(235/65/17s) for 3 years now.
Been a very reliable unit and plan on keeping it a long time.
Driving thru local dealer we saw the bronze package and really liked the look.
It also had bigger tires(254/65/17s) and a 1.5 inch lift….which she wants now too
Ive tried but cannot find them available anywhere…..and I’d probably be scared of the price.
I have also looked into aftermarket but coming up empty on anything…

Water pump leaking

Well it happened to mine. 2024 big bend 1.5 . Waterpump is leaking 20,023 miles. Babied since purchasing, amsoil for every oil change at 3000 miles .  

Automatic folding mirror project WORKED!

Then the rain sensor project is finished.
I would like to see if electric folding can be added to the mirrors.
The BS 2025 with electric folding is sold in Brazil. So it has to be possible.
I can’t find the part number for the Brazilian mirror to look it up. And I don’t know if it would just be a matter of adding the motor or if the whole mirror needs to be replaced.

I don’t think anyone has ever done this before.

Water pump

Well it happened to mine. 2024 big bend 1.5 . Waterpump is leaking 20,023 miles. Babied since purchasing, amsoil for every oil change at 3000 miles .  

BEWARE OF PTU and REAR DIFF OIL LEVEL from the factory !

Changed both after 21,000 miles. ONLY 10 oz came out of the PTU and 18 oz out of the diff. BAD LOW in both. The PTU for sure. Held about 25 oz each. It is a 2022 BB 1.5L. Just a FYI.
