After Reading about Issues, Then Paying for Issues, Moving On
I bought my 22 OB 3 years ago and generally speaking we liked driving it. However I have experienced to many of the issues that so many others have on here, The last straw was a cracked Catylitic converter spewing exhaust into the cabin through the HVAC (And it is a pavement queen). Diff issues, brake issues, leaking axles, leaking Trans, and finally every mechanic I follow on You-Tube says NEVER buy a Ford Eco-boost 4 cyl powered car. Not New, Not pristine, not low mileage, NEVER!

Engine oil, 5-20 Or?
If you own a BS with the 1.5L engine, does this worry you?
Would you run a 1.5L on oil with a viscosity of.. X-30 as a precaution?
Would you do this in a vehicle still under warranty?
Do you believe that frequency of oil changes is the most important factor?

The ‘net seems to be suggesting that 05-20 or 0-20 oil is too low a viscosity to properly protect bearings etc in many newer engines.

Redline Hood Struts
hec, all I do is problem solve everyday.
I went to put these on my Bronco today and they are super easy, well packed, great instructions and they really work well.
Hardware is nicely painted, fit exactly as described, and the struts snapped right in.
Yeah – I’ll take easy when I can get it.
Funny how such a simple mod for the hood makes you feel like your Bronco just went up a notch.
The most ridiculously easy most satisfying mod. I’ll take an easy job any day….

Received some Xmas gifts for the 2025 Badlands.
Flag decals for the side vents.
Tuffskinz “BRONCO” letters for the passenger side dash.
Silver metal knob kit for the console controls and dash knobs.
The one issue I have with the silver knob kit is that the volume knob has an inside diameter approximately .140 inches smaller than the outside diameter of the volume knob.
No way in hell that it will fit. I’m not sure…

Has anyone out there installed the 2.5 inch version of this kit on a Badlands? Skid Plates? The front bumper skid plate would have saved me thousands already. I’ve been considering this kit but wanted input first before purchasing it.

2025 Rally Lights with Toggle Switches – Anyone done it yet
Just like the title says…anyone put any lights on a 2025 and wired them to the new toggle setup in the overhead? I want to put something like KC lights off the front bumper behind the pushbar but other than that less than useful schematic that’s floating around, I can find nothing helpful for an install.
