FYI: 2025+ Badlands New 2.0L MPC engine, new oil filter part# FL-2127
This may be old news but I hadn’t seen it mentioned anywhere and I nearly bought the wrong filters.
The 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands features an updated 2.0L EcoBoost engine, transitioning from the previous “Dragon” series to new Modular Power Cylinder (MPC) specifications for improved performance. So not surprisignly it uses a different oil filter than the previous 2.0L Dragon engine. the MPC engine uses Ford part number FL-2127 filters, NOT the 2.0L FL910S filter from the Dragon 2.0L

Took part in the Thunderbird TSD Rally this year in BC – about 600 miles of navigating backroads in snow, ice, and mud. I needed some solid supplemental lighting for fog and snow conditions and had a pair of good old reliable Hella 500s sitting around. My buddy has a 2009 escape and we were talking about fluid changes in the ptus and the transmissions and everything and he sent me this link cuz I’m at 32,000 miles and I was telling him I was going to be doing my transmission soon and I didn’t realize it but our transmissions you can’t change the filter.
