Rear Differential Replacement – 21 Badlands @ 55,000 Miles

Hello all,

I purchased a used 2021 Bronco Sport Badlands with just under 40,000 miles on it a little over a year ago. During that time I have had a blast driving this car everydy and have had zero issues with the car besides the dreaded brake moan (whale sounds) that many of us have had.

I love this car so much that I convinced my mother to buy one when her Rav4 crapped out and a Coworker when his F-150 was at the end of its life. Both people have loved their bronco sports, and I was…

Need new tire recommendation (’21 Badlands)

So our ’21 Badlands needs new tires ordered now. OEM is the Falken WildPeak AT3/W 235/65-17. It’s due for new tires soon anyway, but found a chunk of sharp metal on the highway that resulted in a non-repairable flat and now driving with the notorious mismatched spare.

I was already shopping anyway, but would like to get something ordered here today. The AT3/W on there seem to be good, but I’d like something similar in terms of overall ability and hopefully a bit better for winter…

Charging system service soon

2021 outer banks BS. I have just replaced the rear differential. ~4,000.
about 2 months ago I had the battery recall done. Now I’m getting a charging system service soon light that comes on and immediately disappears without me clicking OK. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m probably going to get rid of this awful vehicle. First and last Ford. Dealership isn’t trustworthy in my opinion. I’ve grown to hate this SUV. Sorry for rant I’m just extremely frustrated. It’s a non ending money…

Weird buzzing/grinding noise is when letting off the gas and also when I slowly accelerate I hear it too.

Hey does anybody have any clue what this weird buzzing/grinding noise is that I hear when I’m at a lower speed and I let off the gas? I also here it at the beginning of acceleration but it then disappears once at a higher rate of speed

What’s this whirring noise under the hood?

On my ’25 1.5L (cold engine), when I unlock the and open the door, I hear a whirring noise at a constant pitch. It will slowly increase/decrease in pitch every ~60s and remain at a constant pitch. Even if I close the door and lock the vehicle it continues to run, but it does eventually stop after a few minutes.

The only thing I can think of is the low pressure fuel pump, maybe associated with a leaking fuel injector test? If it’s the low pressure fuel pump, why would whirring noise…
