Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015

Snagged the last set of 245/65/17s on the island today. They’ll go on next week and I’ll follow up with some pics. This will be my first experience with Yokohama’s and I’m looking forward to trying them out as they are highly rated for wet roads. A lot of our roads are made with crushed shells… very slick when wet. Anyone with experience with these tires, please chime in.

A friend of mine sent me a picture from Costa Rica. The picture shows a Chery iCar 03. Sold in most of the world except N. America.

If I could, I would consider buying one of these. The quality issue with Chinese built vehicles is a moot point after owning a BS. Could not be much worse.
I would have trouble with the political decision to buy a car made in China.

In some countries, this car is sold for the same price as the taxes I paid on my BS. /s

I got a 24′ BS Badlands as my first car 2 years ago and I’m still trying to convince my friends it was worth it.

It was my gift for my 16th birthday (from my lovely grandmother), I picked it because it shone above the competition, and since then it’s been the fastest car in my friend group, last summer I bought a wrecked Mustang only for my friend to blow it up, but the Bronco stays strong and very very quick. The same friend will constantly dog on the Bronco because he thinks it’s stupid I was gifted such an expensive car. I let another buddy drive it yesterday and now he says he gets it, but the rest…

2021 Bronco Sport 62,000 mi. Catastrophic Engine Failure.

Has anyone had an issue with their 2020+ Bronco Sport experiencing sudden and catastrophic Engine failure? Took the grandkids to a movie Saturday night, Sunday morning my engine seized up. Had it towed to local Ford dealership. They told me the engine is locked up, water in the oil. $14,000 engine replacement, and sorry about your luck, “You’re 2,700 miles outside of warranty.” Dealership said there’s nothing they can do. Ford customer service said there’s nothing they can do. They also said…

I had the cash, but my wife was worried that she had no credit score activity, so we got a loan for $17K. Trade-in was paid for.

I hated paying interest for no reason. When I was younger paying cash for a car wasn’t always an option. People seem to have no concept of compound interest. They only care about the monthly payment so they’ll stretch the loan out over 7 or even *gasp* 8 years. Pay a lot more…

Anyone attending the 57th Baja 500?

Hello All, I’m considering going to the 57th Baja 500 June 4-8th 2025 starting and ending in Ensenada. I’d like to setup further down the race line the night before and would be great if other Sport drivers are around. Also, looking for advice if anyone has been down there with their Bronco Sport recently.
