Hiking Dog picture thread

How about posting pics of one of your favorite hikes with your dog. Only other requirement is you got to the trail head in your Bronco Sport! This one is in Washington state with our 2 year old miniature wiener dog. Yep the little dogs can hike too. Had him out today on a different trail that was new to both of us, yet close to home.

Battery Replacement
As I noted in another thread, my battery was dead Christmas morning, jumped it, drove it to recharge. Next day dead. Ford Roadside came and jumped. It’s been fine until this morning. DEAD. Just bought a Duralast Platinum AGM Battery BCI Group Size 48 760 CCA H6-AGM that I’ll pick up at AutoZone later (after I jump the current one, again). Will AutoZone install for me? I know removing air intake (or something) is required and I did search here already and didn’t…

Higher ramps?
I’ve been a mechanic all my life and have always done the oil changes on all my cars. Now that I’m 80 years old, and have a bigger tummy, I’m having problems. I have a really nice set of Rhino ramps that I use. The problem is they only lift the wheels 7″ off the ground. It’s getting harder to get under my OBX to change the oil and filter. Does anyone know of manufactured or homemade ramps that would give me some higher ground clearance?
was surprised with my 30K service the other day
I also asked what recalls my bronco was part of, it has only had 1 and that was for the body control module which was done when I bought it. none of the other recalls apply to my bronco.

so reading on here I was led to believe the transmission fluid wasn’t changed at the services when done at ford, but when I took mine in the for 29 or 30K (what ever 48000km works out to) they did a trans fluid change and it gets done at that interval every time. maybe I just read the posts wrong?

Update On 2025 2.0 MPC Engine – No GPF!
I just confirmed that the revised MPC 2.0 liter MPC engine in 2025 Badland models do NOT have a gasoline particulate filter and has the full 250 hp. Also confirmed with Ford customer service that the 2025 2.0 has 250 hp and the torque increased from 277 to 280 lb/feet. Also the highway mpg rating went up from 26 to 27 mpg. I looked under my 2025 Badlands to confirm that there is not a GPF! Check out this video for more details.
Antifreeze leak, not Water pump
Leak in this air intake area. Back of RH side, below the reservoir. Reservoir is good, no spray on block from water pump or any joint on block. Running down from area above, toward clamp Any ideas?
Where are all my fellow texans????

I’m out, traded for a 2025 RAV4
First of all, I’m a life long Ford owner, I am 60. My father retired from Ford in the early 90s. I’m thoroughly disappointed in the quality and reliability of this Bronco Sport. I have had my vehicle in the shop 3 times and this latest was almost a month. The dealer has also sent a technician to my house 2 times to update computer software or some such a thing. I cannot keep a vehicle if in the back of my mind I’m always wandering if this vehicle will break down or have an issue while I…

2022 Bronco Sport Left Front Turn Signal
Thanks
Ernie
I purchased a new 2022 Ford Bronco Sport in Richmond VA in August 2022. We have enjoyed driving it for 45,000 miles. The left front signal stopped working and I contacted Richmond Ford. I was told the whole lighting housing would have to be replaced at a cost of $2800. This is ridiculous. I can’t afford this. What are my options.
Thanks
Ernie
Rear Shock Leak
However, service tech apparently noticed that rear shocks are starting to leak. Anyone else have this issue. Seems very strange for this to happen at 20k. And it’s a $900 fix. I call bullshit. Either it’s not really a problem or they are inferior shocks.
I have 2021 BS BL. Only 20k miles in almost four years. No crazy use or rough treatment. Took in today for 20k service and they also performed the recall work and checked battery and confirmed no issues.
