This summer I worked in Northern California
in the Redwoods at Richardson Grove State Park. I visited the beautiful popular sites on
my days off. A special treat was to go to Sinkyone Wilderness State Park in the Lost
Coast region of the King Mountain Range.
The road to Needle Rock visitor center is steep, unpaved and narrow for 3.5 miles.
You need to back up if you encounter a car
and there is a drop off to the ocean below.
