Idemitsu 0W 20 Oil for 2025 BSBB ?

This past week my 2025 BB went in for its first oil and filter change . My trusted independent mechanic surprised me by using Idemitsu 0W 20 oil, a brand I hadn’t heard of before.

Has anyone else in the forum had any experience using this oil in their BS. ? I understand that it is a well known brand in Japan .

Cheers

GMRS Handheld Recommendations?

Looking to get a handheld first, then at a mounted unit later down the road (trail?). Any recommendations for a decent one, and any units to avoid? Units you later regretted buying (or not buying)?

Thanks in advance!

So yes, bronco sport is the first vehicle I’ve ever owned with a push button starter and until recently I didn’t even know how to put it in accessory mode, but one thing I did notice is that button is a hair trigger you barely have to touch it for things to happen.
Day before yesterday, I drove to work and while I was parking my car, I accidentally pressed the button without my foot on the break so I realized it was an accessory mode and I restarted it and turned it off again and I got out…

When Music is Closer to Home Than You Think

There’s no particular point to this, other than when hearing it again recently it brought back some very strong memories that I thought I’d share for better or worse.

Story Time…

The US Navy has an unofficial tradition following the at-sea, underway replenishment of fuel (UNREP) called the “breakaway song”. It’s a song chosen by the receiving vessel to play over the 6MC (loud hailer) as the hoses and lines are retracted by the delivering vessel and the receiving vessel “breaks away”…

Fuel Leak

Just wondering if anyone else has had a fuel leak in their BS. I have a 2021 OB with 29,000 miles on it and after driving around town and then parking in the garage, I noticed a strong smell of gas with leakage on the floor. The gas mingled with the snow melting on the floor of the garage so not sure where it’s coming from…I’m in Minnesota and snow tracks in all the time. It’s been at the dealer for the past few days and still waiting to get an answer.

Back To Work Reset Challenge:What’s the Worst to Clean? (Poll + Tips + Prizes)
Alright y’all…
Back-to-work season is officially here, but let’s be real — some of our cars are still stuck in holiday mode 😅
If your interior looks like it survived a road trip, winter weather, and a full-on snack war… you’re not alone.
After the holidays, motivation is low, daylight is short, and a deep interior clean feels like an all-day commitment.
So instead of pretending we’ve got it together, let’s make this a no-judgement reset thread.
Show us the mess or show us the comeback.
