Alternator OAD Pulley Replacement Part #

For anyone trying to avoid buying an entire alternator assembly from the dealer, here ya go….
The the pulley is made by Litens part #920123 920123A or 920123K for roughly $50. I found one on Amazon. Another forum member also found it on RockAuto.com.
I went with a new serpentine belt from NAPA #060452 for $35
I recommend renting a decoupler tool from AutoZone for fast removal.
No need to remove the alternator or pay the dealer $500.
There’s plenty of great YouTube videos showing how to…

Unsteady idle

Hi all
I have a ’21 BSBB and an intermittent issue has been popping up with the idle. This issue is not happening often enough to be able to take it to the dealer, under the extended warranty, for it to be likely for the dealer to duplicate or see the problem however I did get a small video of it and posted it here. I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this with their BS before I contact the dealer.

In the video, you will see the RPM, at idle, suddenly drops and when the idle drops the…

2025 Dash Accessory Bolt Size

2025 Dash Accessory Bolt Size
Okay. What the frickety frack?
Bolt size for the dash accessories are supposedly 1/4 – 20.
So I buy a Ram Mount ball Bolt size 1/4 – 20.
Not even close. Diameter is too large.
Every Google search says the accessory bolts are 1/4 – 20.
So what is it really??

Lift or not to lift, that is the question…and tires

New here, and to Bronco Sport, but not to Ford.
Just got the Heritage, it’s awesome, and I will post pics soon.
First, a general question: I’m scheduled to get a 1.5” lift and KO2 tires (245/65/17) from the Ford dealer. Anyone have experience, suggestions, comments here?
Anything is appreciated (ie, is the lift worth it, are the tires good, are they noisey, affect mpg significantly?)
I’m not going to be doing serious off-roading (been there done that), but I just want it to look a little…

Backed into corner of brick wall, now sensors don’t work – tire pressure monitor, blind spot detection, pre-collision assist+

I have a 2022 Ford Bronco Outer Banks. I backed into the corner of a brick wall and now pre-collision assist, blind spot detection with cross traffic warning, and a tire pressure monitor aren’t working. A different tire pressure monitor stopped working a month ago (both in the rear). Has anyone had a repair like this? Any idea how much it cost? Did you take it to a dealer or is a different mechanic ok for this sensor stuff? I don’t care about the small dent in the bumper, just the sensors…

Does the 1.5L use the same alternator assembly as the 2.0L?

Hi guys. Having trouble finding a part number for an alternator pulley. I went to the dealer and they, of course, tell me I have to purchase the ENTIRE ALTERNATOR with the pulley attached. They do however, sell the pulley for the 2.0 l engine but the computer says it’s not compatible with the 1.5 l engine.
Are they the same? Is this just BS? I’m not replacing a $60 part with a $460 alternator!
Can anyone confirm they are the same?

Heaven forbid something happened to your Bronco Sport… what are you going to get next?

The dealership where I bought my Bronco Sport from called me today saying they had a special offer for me. I know it’s marketing and I know it’s to get me to buy another car from them, but it did get me thinking.

I’m at 6.5% APR and I can’t find anyone to finance it at a better rate (my credit’s great). I’ve had the Bronco Sport for 15 months and while I’m liking it, it can get a little cramped for cargo and there are small fit and finish issues. I haven’t had any issues that most…

Lifted and upgraded tires: Rough Country 1.5 lift + Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 245/65r17 tires
Installed the Rough Country 1.5 lifted struts and upgraded the OEM Continental tires to Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 245/65r17 tires (bought off eBay) … Are both upgrades, added about 3 inches… After driving a bit I’m sure it’ll be a little less than that… Offroad tire installer said the setup was perfect for the BS… That just reinforced I made the right choices… Now to get ready for trail season…
