Spare tire mount

I wanted a full size spare carrier and none of the after market ones would work without blocking the license plate and backup camera ,so built my own ,I think it turned out great .
Mounting bolts on dash are M6. 1.0

I ordered some Ram Mount 1” tough balls to mount my handheld GMRS radio and discovered this. I read somewhere that they were standard 1/4” 20 bolts and that’s incorrect
anyway hope to save someone else the trouble.

Just an FYI the Bronco mounting bolts behind the dash screen on the 2025 Badlands Sasquatch are M6 1.0

Do y’all have any special Christmas/holiday traditions?
About 10 years ago we attended our church’s Christmas Eve service with our family – four grown kids, their spouses and the grandkids. We had aa total of about 20 of us that night. Following the service, we were hungry and headed to the only place open – Denny’s.
The service was horrible, the wait was long, and the food was mediocre. However, we had a blast. Just went, ate and hung out. At the end of the meal, and after settling the…

1.5l Drain Plug
Hey, is anyone out there proactively replacing their drain plug? I’m coming up on my 45,000km (30,000 mile) service, and thinking about replacing the plug before it leaks. I’m ambivalent about the setup. I’ve seen the best quality drain plug/gasket combos NEVER seal properly, and I’ve also had the sketchiest looking pan/plug combo last forever. But this is the first time with a composite pan and stopper setup, and want to make it last.
Recent service—bummed by news
Just had our 22 BS BB in for service. 19k miles, no towing, no off-road, light normal driving and they mentioned my rear shocks are leaking and recommend to replace them. Anyone else experience this? Does warranty cover this?
Changed Brakes, Now I have a plethora of warning lights
So I changed my brakes over the last few days and when I started it, it gave me a bunch of warnings, including “Hill start assist not available,” “collision assist not available,” “check brakes,” a bunch of stuff.
To take you through what I did start to finish to see what I messed up, I took the car into the shop on Saturday to have the brake fluid changed. Took them about an hour, everything was working well after, drove home fine.
On Sunday I did the rear brakes. I put…

Differential Oil (VERY CONFUSED!!!)
Hey yall; thanks for having me. My 21 badlands is at 74k miles and I’ve already had to get warranty work done for the RDU. I’m currently wanting to do oil changes on the differentials but I cannot for the life of me get a straight answer from ANYWHERE telling me if there is an alternative to the ford 75w motorcraft stuff (reeeeally trying to avoid ordering it in the mail)? I checked user manual, ChatGPT, google, YouTube, and I’ve searched thru here but I can’t figure out exactly what…

Transmission Won’t Go Into gear with Hood Open
I opened the hood and listened to the engine at idle in park and it sounded ok. When Mrs T finally came out I had her sit in the drivers seat and told her to start the engine and put it in drive. The shift knob wouldn’t turn and there was a…
You learn something every day. I was sitting in the Bronco waiting for Mrs. T to come out of a store when I thought I heard a strange sound from the engine. I shifted between park and drive and it sounded like it was only making the noise in drive.

Front fender fabric liner.
So noticed the front wheel well has a fabric liner, wondering if the mud flaps actually help, or there is an aftermarket plastic liner like the rear wheel well. I understand noise dampening reasons, but wheeling or snow seems not so great with a fabric liner.
