Anyone else familiar with these topics regarding how to improve fuel economy and improve your battery’s service life? I came across these on Youtube and I found them quite interesting. Has anyone ever tried these and did they actually make a difference for you?
Annoying Seat Belt lights.
2026 BS Big Bend. There is that annoying screen that comes on about all the seat belts. Red X means it’s not fastened, green check means it is. Here is the annoying part. Why do I have to freaking click ok every dang time I get in the car, to get it to disappear, even after all seat belts are clicked? It will stay on forever unless you click ok. Is there a way to turn this off? I found how to turn off the occupant alert for the back seat, but I can’t find it anywhere for the seat belts…

’21 Sport Big Bend headlight harness pin layout?
Thinking there was only one headlight assembly for the bronco sport, I purchased one off ebay. After swapping the headlight out and testing it…it did not light up. Looking at the headlight pins, turns out the pins on the headlight do not line up with my harness.

A deer ran into my bronco a month or so ago, broke the plastic for my passenger headlight and dented up the side panels. Drove it around with tape until 2 weeks ago the entire headlight went out.

How many miles did your sparkplugs last?
I bought my 23 Outerbanks with 35k and at 41k got the orange wrench light. I have a really good scanner and came up with code P130D:00:68. There is minimal information on the web for this code(injectors, knock sensor, bad gas, software issue, etc). Took it to the dealer for diagnosis and they said saprkplugs were bad and possibly injectors. Knowing there is a pending injector recall (that is accompanied by a powertrain control module software update), they said sparkplug replacement is the…

Rental Jeep mismatched tires, thanks Enterprise 😡
I rented a Jeep Wrangler from Enterprise Rent‑A‑Car in Salt Lake City and didn’t notice until we were deep in Southern Utah that it had three different brands of nearly bald tires: one Bridgestone Dueler, two Vantage SUVs, and one very questionable Celimo. I’ve never heard of Vantage or Celimo 
To top it off, the T40 Torx tool for the spare tire lock was missing too. I’ll pry that off with the tire iron if I have too…

Bulletpoint Rubigrid dash mount installed
I installed it a couple of days ago. First off, this is a quality piece of gear for the price.
Easy to install. I decided not to drill the holes for the self tapping screws. I just used the 2 original mounting screws.
I’m sure this will be solid enough for my needs. I’m just mounting a small dash cam.
Now the process of finding a 4K dash cam that can invert the screen image. I’m don’t need the rear cam.
Any suggestions on…
I bought the basic Bulletpoint Rubigrid dash mount for $50.

Redesigned custom design brush bar
Hated that the brush bar covered the lettering and wasn’t comfortable with the aftermarket options that might cover parking sensors or front camera. Had a local shop redesign it and fabricated the straight piece. Pretty happy with the work and still cheaper than an aftermarket solution
