Seeking A-Pillar Light Help

Hello,

From my research I see there are a few different A-Pillar light brackets. The main difference I can see is that they differ on the light position. I have seen some A-Pillar lights pretty much right in line with the pillar, others that stick out pretty far (similar to a police spotlight), and another that seems to bring the lights inward within the perimeter of the A-Pillar, which I don’t like. The RangerLifts brackets seem to stick the lights out too far, in my opinion. Stage 3…

Beer of the day thread

Beer of the day thread
Want to see what you are all into, not just beer, any libation that tickles your fancy!

I myself enjoy beer, cocktails (especially Kentucky brown water), and wines in the proper company.

Post up something frosty, festive, or boozy.

Tonight I’ll share this little number
Sierra Nevada – winter warmer
It’s a 6.5% ale that tastes like a stout but has a soft light finish. Prominent flavors of toasted vanilla and maybe pecan? If I had to guess ibu I’d say 65

Help with ignition-on fuse or wire tap

Help with ignition-on fuse or wire tap
I ordered and installed an auxiliary switch box, got the box mounted and wire ran through to driver side. The iddue I’m having now is connecting the fuse to power. I quickly realised the under-hood fuse box is a pretty sealed box and won’t realistically get a tap in there, and the box is a long way from the interior fuse box. Has anyone had to splice onto an exiting ignition-on wire (possibly in the headlight) and had success?

Thanks for any help

Quashish Family Ride Thread : 2024 Badlands

Spend 4 hours today removing additions I’ve made over the last 3 years to my wife’s rapid red big bend. Removed basket and yakima crossbars. Basket will get a fresh coat of paint. Thinking either just gloss black or the hammered finish metallic from rustoleum. Only thing I left on the car for now is the window vents, mud guards, and windsheild strip. I’ll get those before we take it back to the dealership. Please excuse my cluttered garage.

What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Now that forum members are getting some Bronco Sports to own and love, I thought it would be cool to begin a thread that is often found on other enthusiast boards.

Got your hands a bit dirty working on your Little Bronco recently? Dressed it up? Did a detail? Or how about a mod? Give us a quick post, show us some pics. Share what you are doing to make your Sport uniquely yours.

I’ll kick off with a few items myself to get things started and hopefully we can keep the thread going.

Broken sway bar upper bracket?

Broken sway bar upper bracket?
Front drivers side was making a strange sound and felt off, after taking a look at it the upper bracket that attaches the sway bar links is broken. No mods just a 21 Bronco sport big bend. Anyone else have this problem and can you just buy the bracket? If so where have you found them? I’ve searched all day today and can not track them down.

Sport Mode…

Sport Mode…
Still under 100 miles on my new Badlands and just tried the Sport Mode.
We usually don’t use it on my Wife’s Big Bend.
Plenty peppy enough and totally fine in mountain driving – even with the 235/65/17 AT Trails.
The Sport Mode is really great on the Badlands and I really can’t feel any difference after installing 245/65 /17 AT Trails.
Nice to have options.:sunglasses:

Auxbeam Mount location

Hi all. Decided to add a Rough Country 20” bumper mounted LED light bar to my Outerbanks.

I also picked up an auxbeam AS-R40 switch.

With regards to mounting the control box under the hood.

1. Is it safe to mount with heat proof double sided tape?

2. is on top of the air box (just in front of the battery) and ok spot? Or how about the flat box just to the right of the battery? I haven’t looked close at that spot. Is it the fuse box?

On a side note. I was thinking of installing a small…

Diode dynamics backlight wiring question

Looking into upgrading my ditch lights and have really started to like the ssc2 pros. My question is, has anyone here installed diode dynamic lights? I see it has a backlight wire that people tap into existing wiring, which I don’t want to do. Could I just wire it to an empty slot on my auxiliary fuse box? Or could I hypothetically bring it to the same auxiliary fuse slot that I would run the lights to? I’m not necessarily hurting for space in the auxiliary fuse box but am curious…
